This past Sunday-Wednesday morning Alex and I took a nice mid-week getaway to Niagara Falls (on the Canadian side.) I've never been an actual tourist there and have only stayed for a day for my brothers baseball games.
We were those tourists that took pictures of everything! Especially of the falls. Such a view and if anyone has the chance, go see them! Breath taking.
Sunday we relaxed, used our jacuzzi, went to dinner and went for a walk. I ran a 10k that morning so i beat by 10pm!
Monday we walked like a 20000 steps, went on the maid on the mist which was freezing but so cool to be that close to the falls. We went to Dave and Busters for the arcade games and mini putting in which I almost beat the golf pro!
Tuesday we wanted to go to the Fallsview water park but after walking for 2 hours, it was closed. Bummer. We went swimming and used our gift card to the Keg which over looked the falls. Again that was beautiful. Later that night we crossed the border and gambled at Seneca Niagara Casino. We had a $50 gift card from groupon and we won $48 together! I guess we're good at gambling!
It was such a nice few days away. Just the two of us to reconnect as sometimes our schedules don't match up. So good to go on a little stay-vaction.
